 A little about me and my story. My name is Megan, I am 37 years old, divorced Momma of two pretty incredible girls. Sophia 12 and Scarlett 5. They are the light of my life and my reason. My life is pretty crazy and chaotic, and I'm always running on coffee and rocking the Hot Mess Momma look. 

By day I work full-time as a RN Certified School Nurse. I am referred to as Momma, Momma Megan or Nurse Megan. My students have become my children, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I found my passion in nursing. That is being an educator and most importantly a safe place for all children whether they are mine, yours or someone else's. I always wanted to make an impact, and as a school nurse I get to do that each and every day. I may not be saving the world, but I may be helping to change the views and lives of our future.

When I am not working, my life as a single mom is a little bit of crazy, a little bit of chaos and a whole lot of fun. My life revolves around my girls. And I must say I'm rocking the girl mom life with these two!

As a busy momma, I know how important it is to have things that keep us going throughout the day. For me, that's coffee, Gatorade Zero, sunflowers, long rides, music, DIY projects, crafting, and traveling. But most importantly, it's spending time with my kids and always trying to find fun and budget- friendly things to do with them.

I know how important it is to make lasting memories with your loved ones without breaking the bank. That's why I'm here to share my budget-friendly ideas and tips for creating unforgettable experiences with your family and friends. From DIY projects to crafting tutorials and party planning tips, tricks and advice, I'm here help you have fun and make memories that will last a lifetime. Hello all you beautiful crazy busy mommas out there! Whimsical Momma is a DIY Mommy blogger along with a little of this and a little of that as well. This blog is perfect for all the cray busy mommas who love being creative and having fun doing it. My LOVE for crafting, DIY projects, creating recipes & party/event planning started at a young age and has been a part of mine and my children's lives ever since. Creating crafts, DIY projects and making different recipes with my children and nieces and nephews is something I love being able do. It allows us to share a hobby that we all enjoy doing together and make wonderful crazy memories at the same time.

In addition to loving DIY projects and crafting, I find something thrilling and exciting about planning different events. It started off with birthdays, game nights, family get-together, and started getting bigger with baby showers, bridal showers, weddings and being the organizer of corporate events. I am always coming up with creative and unique party ideas, fundraisers, and even fun games for family get togethers. I enjoy taking the time to plan events and try my best to make them extra special for my loved ones or friends. Not only will I be sharing some amazing blogs for crafting and DIY projects, but we will also be sharing tips and tricks for budget-friendly parties, events and get togethers for our family and friends. Party planning and event planning is just something I absolutely LOVE! I mean, I am that crazy momma making all the DIY things I can.
